Initiation & U8 Program

New Programs for 2020

LASA is very excited to be providing a softball based Initiation and U8 program this season 

Initiation: The Initiation program is a skill-based introduction to softball and/or baseball.  Sessions are laid out in 5- and 10-minute stations and are designed to familiarize players with ball skills and introduce young persons to team sport.  The emphasis is on fun, physical activity and a positive, safe environment that fosters love for the games of softball and baseball.  Parental involvement is highly encouraged for this group of beginners.  

Years of Birth: 2014-2016 (4-6yrs)    Fee: $80.00            Tues & Thurs    6-7pm

U8: The U8 age group will follow the Softball Canada Timbits program.  Timbits Softball is designed to be a young person's introduction to the sport of Softball. The emphasis is on fun, action, and a positive atmosphere, with a gradual introduction to non-stressful competition. Timbits Softball provides children aged 6-8 with maximum opportunity to practice the skills necessary to successfully transition and take part in the youth and adult game of Softball.

Tues & Thurs      6-7:15pm
