2020 Softball Season

2020 Softball Information 

SOFTBALL CITY DIVISIONS

U10: This division is an introduction to the sport of softball.  Players will play the “Hot Corners” softball rules

Years of Birth: 2010-2011         Fee: $200.00                Mon & Wed

U12: In this division players play full provincial rules.  Games will be Tuesdays and practices on Thursdays.

Years of Birth: 2008-2009         Fee: $265.00                 Tues & Thurs

U14: In this division players play full provincial rules.  Practices will be on Mondays and games on Wednesdays.  This team will participate in the Lakeland League and will have out of town travel.

Years of Birth: 2006-2007        Fee: $270.00                 Mon & Wed

U16: In this division players play full provincial rules.  This division will be subject to registration numbers.  Practices will be on Mondays and games on Wednesdays.  This team will participate in the Lakeland League and will have out of town travel.

Years of Birth: 2004-2005        Fee: $270.00                 Mon & Wed

SOFTBALL COMPETITIVE DIVISIONS

U10: This division will continue to develop each player’s basic mechanical skills while introducing them to the basics of game-play. The teams will practice twice a week and attend 2-3 tournaments prior to entering Alberta Provincial Championships. Some weeknight travel will be required.

Years of Birth: 2010-2011         Fee: $300.00    *includes $100 worth of raffle tickets for resale           

U12: This division will continue to develop both general and position specific skills. The teams will practice twice a week and compete in the Girls Prairie League Softball’s weekend league prior to entering Provincial Championships.

Years of Birth: 2008-2009        Fee: $450.00    *includes $100 worth of raffle tickets for resale       

U14: This division will continue to develop both general and position specific skills. The teams will practice twice a week and compete in the Girls Prairie League Softball’s weekend league prior to entering Provincial Championships. Should they qualify; the A team will also compete at the Western Canadian Softball Championships.

U16: Teams in this division have been selected for the 2020 Season.  Please join us in the fall of 2020 for our ID camps

Years of Birth: 2004-2005        Fee: $500.00    *includes $100 worth of raffle tickets for resale

U19: Teams in this division have been selected for the 2020 Season.  Please join us in the fall of 2020 for our ID camps

 Years of Birth: 2001-2003        Fee: $500.00    *includes $100 worth of raffle tickets for resale
